Booking & Payment
How do I make a booking?
Fill in the required details on our booking form and submit. If we can accommodate your request, we will send you an invoice link for payment by credit card.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Bookings are accepted up to the day before pickup, but availability is not guaranteed. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your transfer.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit card payment only. Once your transfer is confirmed, we will send you a secure invoice link. No cash payment is required on the day.
What is your cancellation policy?
  • 3 or more days before pickup: No cancellation fee
  • 2 days before pickup: 50% cancellation fee
  • 1 day before pickup: 100% cancellation fee
How are refunds processed?
Refunds are processed to your credit card within 30 days of cancellation. If a cancellation fee applies, the fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Luggage
How many bags can I send?
We can transfer up to 15 pieces of luggage per booking. Please note that availability may vary depending on the booking status on your transfer date.
Are there size or weight restrictions?
There are no strict size or weight restrictions. However, luggage that is larger or heavier than a standard suitcase may not be accepted. Please contact us in advance if you have any concerns.
What time should I drop off my luggage?
Please Please leave your luggage at the front desk by 8:00 AM on your departure day — even if you are departing after 8:00 AM.
Can I use the service if my accommodation has no front desk or staff?
Yes. If your accommodation has no front desk or is unstaffed, please leave your luggage in the location specified by the inn — such as your room or the entrance — at the time of checkout. Please note that some accommodations may not support luggage transfer service.
When will my luggage arrive?
Your luggage will be delivered to your next accommodation, typically before check-in time. It will be waiting for you when you arrive.
Are there any items I cannot send?
Please do not include valuables, fragile items, perishable food, or fresh produce. We are not responsible for damage to or loss of such items.
Routes & Service
Which routes do you cover?
We cover the Nakahechi route of the Kumano Kodo, including transfers between Kii-Tanabe, Takijiri/Takahara, Chikatsuyu/Nonaka, Hongu (including Yunomine Onsen, Kawayu Onsen, and Wataze Onsen), Koguchi/Takada, Shingu, and Katsuura/Nachisan.
What is a Skip Transfer?
A Skip Transfer is when your luggage is sent directly from Inn A to Inn C, while you stay overnight at Inn B without your bags. This service is available, but you must first confirm with the destination inn that they can accept luggage before your check-in date, and notify us. If they cannot, we can store your luggage temporarily for an additional fee of ¥1,000 per bag per day.
Do you offer service in languages other than English?
All bookings are handled in English. For inquiries in other languages, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
